installation and configuration of cisco secure acs 5.3 (vmware) – part 3

Next part of the Secure ACS configuration in my case is the NTP server because it is important for logging.

The NTP server configuration is quite simple but the acs service of the server has to be restartet once a change is made.

When you login to the server via console of the VM or via SSH then you will notice that the look and feel is the same as when you configure a Cisco router or switch. Only difference is that a lot of commands are missing as they are not necessary for the Secure ACS.

Once you are logged on you can configure the NTP Server with the following steps:

Finally you can do a “copy run start” to save the config :).
